Millie Hiett celebrated her 100th birthday at Caer Gwent on Thursday 1 July. Millie was a recipient of the Royal Red Cross after the war for her services to her country.

This qualification has been designed to meet the needs of all employees in the care sector. It provides employees with a good understanding and knowledge of health and safety in the health and social care setting. There is a multiple choice examination at the end of the course.

There is a multiple choice written test and the certificate is valid for 3 years.
