The West Sussex County Council subsidised Help@Home service is for frail, vulnerable people over 65 living with limited financial means who need help with ~
- Shopping
- Cleaning, mopping and dusting
- Washing and ironing
- Making beds
- Cleaning cupboards
- Window cleaning (from inside)
- and more
The service aims to help older people avoid hospital admission and to help those who have recently returned home from hospital. It also for older people with depression or another functional mental illness in a non-acute phase, those with drug or alcohol issues, incontinence other medical conditions.
Unfortunately there is a charge for this service, see below for details:
- £5 per hour
- £7.50 for 1.5 hours
- £10 for 2 hours
