Providing personal care and domestic support for people in their own homes

Every day our Home Care service helps hundreds of people living in the local community. Our highly trained community care assistants and home helps can provide either personal care or domestic support.

Our staff can assist with everything from bathing and dressing to shopping and washing the kitchen floor. We are happy to respond to the needs of each individual client and tailor the service we provide accordingly.

An increasing number of local people have come to rely on the support provided in their own homes by Guild Care's Home Care team.

We have major contracts with Social Services to provide home care for many vulnerable members of the local community and we also have a growing number of private clients.

A high level of training is vital if our community care staff are to continue to deliver a high quality service. That is why we particularly concentrate on maintaining and developing the training our staff receive and more than a third of them have now achieved, or are working towards, a level 2 or 3 National Vocational Qualification.

Guild Care's emphasis on quality training has been recognised with the award of Investor In People accreditation to the charity.
