The Richmond Suite, located on the ground floor of the building is a specially designed, self-contained unit which provides a harmonious and secure environment for people with dementia.
The individually tailored Dementia Care concept within the Richmond Suite was developed through consultation with Dementia Care Matters, one of only three centres of excellence for dementia care in the UK.
Richmond’s features include:
- A range of design features to assist residents in finding their way around easily and to feel relaxed and secure
- Staff support residents with meaningful occupation and a variety of activities
- A secure garden especially designed with dementia in mind
We have a skilled workforce at Linfield, who are trained in a wide range of areas to provide high-quality individualised care. Many staff have Dementia Awareness training, with staff working in the Richmond Suite receiving additional specialist dementia care training.
The staff are supported and managed by an experienced team of senior staff, all of whom have had many years experience in the care sector.
