Thank you to everyone who generously supported the Healthy Living Appeal - we raised a fantastic £107,000 for our community services in our last financial year 2010/11, exceeding our target by £7,000. This meant that we were able to deliver a full programme of services supporting over 500 older people and carers to maintain their health and wellbeing.
We were fortunate engough to receive trust donations of over £35,000 including significant donations from the Thomas Banting Memorial Trust, The Florence Cohen Charitable Trust, The Boltini Trust and the Elderly Settlement Trust.
In these challenging economic times we are incredibly grateful to everyone who support sus either through donating, sponsoring, helping at appeal events or giving us their time or services for less than they would usually change. We would not be able to continue our much needed services without your support so thank you.
Ashdown Appeal
Over recent years it has become increasinly hard to secure funding for our core services at the Ashdown Centre for children and young people.
We are extremely grateful to everyone who supported the Ashdown Appeal through many varied fundraising events during 2010/11. Thanks to your energy, enthusiasm, generosity, bright ideas and family involvement, the appeal raised a superb £20,939. We were very grateful to the Ellis Will Trust for their significant contribution of £10,000 to the appeal.
