Volunteers a
t Guild Care, Worthing play a unique role in the delivery of many of our services. Your contribution means that we are able to provide a range of additional services that are greatly appreciated by our service users. The support of volunteers frequently provides the added care which reinforces Guild Care’s core values.
Our volunteers work with us for a variety of reasons and all have personal ambitions or goals they want to achieve. This relationship is mutually beneficial and we hope that our volunteers get as much out of their time with us as they give to the organisation.
We have a flexible approach to working and welcome enquiries from students, jobseekers, disabled people, retired people, part-time workers, full-time workers and non-working people. We also like to hear from people looking for a one off, ad-hoc, short term, or long term role.
Check our our volunteering FAQs for more details or contact our Volunteering Department here.

Our volunteers are a valuable asset that, in the case of some of our services, we simply couldn’t do without. With that in mind, we like to acknowledge and publicly thank our volunteers as much as possible.
We take part in National Volunteers Week (first week in June) each year and also invite all our volunteers to attend a Christmas dinner and awards ceremony. As part of these events, we thank and acknowledge volunteers for their long service and also highlight volunteers who have achieved in particular areas, excelled in their role or been involved in additional activities such as fundraising and special events.
