We are proud of our teams as these improvements has been achieved during the pandemic and a time of other unprecedented pressures and factors. We are disappointed that a small number of issues that were all resolved and actioned during the inspection have been carried over across 2 domains and have affected our overall rating which we feel does not accurately reflect the lived experiences of residents and relatives. A view that is shared by those living at Caer Gwent. We remain committed to continuous improvement and ensuring that experiences are outstanding and have taken appropriate remedial action. We look forward to CQC’s prompt return in order to restore the rating to a standard that accurately reflects the experiences of our residents and relatives.
