ng into action at Ashmount 1940s Summer Fayre on Saturday 26 June. Residents at the Guild Care home and visitors enjoyed lively music from that era and a superb display of dancing.Volunteers, relatives and residents manned the stalls dressed in 1940s fashions. Sue Hilditch, Activities Co-ordinator said 'The residents haven't stopped talking about it. They were so involved with making the flags, wrapping the prizes and painting pottery to sell that it has been really wonderful.'
£401 was raised for residents activities at Ashmount. Tricia Hall,
