On what must have been the sunniest afternoon of the year so far, visitors flocked to Caer Gwent's annual Strawberry Teas held in the gardens of the Guild Care residential and nursing home in Downview Road, Worthing on Saturday 26 June.It was a lovely atmosphere with the event raising £615 for residents' activities. Over 200 Strawberry Teas were served to visitors, residents, relatives and staff.

There was an unusual teddy bear stall with beautifully dressed bears and lovely jewellery which had been crafted by residents. A book stall, home made cakes, plants, bric-a-brac and some very unusual handbags.
Chris Pescott, one of the organisers said 'It was such a beautiful afternoon and thank you to all the volunteers and residents who helped make the event so special.'
