Guild Care has announced that Chief Executive Antonia Bunnin will be stepping down from the role at the end of August.
Antonia said ‘following my mother’s unexpected death earlier this year, I have decided that I need to step back from the pressures of the role.’ In an email to all staff she said ‘it is your dedication, care and commitment to the vulnerable people we work with that makes Guild Care such a very special organisation.’
Guild Care Trustees announced the appointment of Suzanne Millard as Acting Chief Executive. Suzanne is currently Resources Director and Deputy Chief Executive. Peter Robinson, Chair of Trustees said ‘Suzanne has worked for Guild Care for six years and has many strengths and talents, as well as a thorough understanding of the organisation and its needs.’
Suzanne Millard, joined the organisation as Human Resources Manager and moved up to the position of Deputy Chief Executive in 2007. Suzanne said ‘I am very pleased to be able to take on the role of Acting Chief Executive and I am looking forward to developing Guild Care’s invaluable services for older people and carers’
