Farewell to Linfield Manager

farewell to alisonGuild Care said a fond farewell to Alison Williams on Friday 28 May after 22 years with the charity.

Alison joined Guild Care in 1988 as a Bank Nursing Sister at Caer Gwent and the moved to Frazer Lodge in 1990 as Deputy Manager. She was appointed Manager of Irene House until 1997 and following a short spell at another home returned as Manager of our Caer Gwent home in 1999. In 2008 she moved on to manage our newest home Linfield.

The official farewell was attended by Peter Robinson, Chairman, Vice-Chair Carol Roberts, trustees and Guild Care senior managers and Chief Executive Suzanne Millard as well as Linfield residents and their relatives, work colleagues from around Guild Care and volunteers.

Following a special presentation Alison was wished every success in her new business venture with her sister. The business will be supporting people with learning difficulties, physical and mental health needs in the community.
Linfield's new manager Karen Harman will be joining Guild Care on August 16.
