Guild Care partners Durrington Festival

17-May-2011

As charity partners to the Durrington Festival, we wish the organisers 'good luck and fine weather' for the week long festival which commences on Friday 3 June and finishes on Saturday 11 June with the traditional village fayre and firework display.

Guild Care will be launching the festival with 'Not Your Usual Quiz Night' at the Lamb Inn, Durrington Lane on Friday 3 June. This will be a fundraiser for the Ashdown Club and will include the popular 'Cheese Bingo'. Quiz teams are invited to book tickets (£25 per team of 4-6 people) with Guild Care's fundraising team on 01903 528630.

The festival week will be full of events see www.durringtonfestival.org which will culminate in the fayre at Pond Lane recreation ground, Durrington on Saturday 11 June starting at 1pm. There will be a carnival procession, Harris' Fun Fair and a huge free firework display at approximately 10pm.

Guild Care will be hosting a fundraising stall at the fayre and we are also working with festival organisers on the 2011 festival awards. If you have a glamorous granny or a dog with a waggy tail, please pop down and joine us!

The Ashdown Club will be decorating a Guild Care minibus to lead the carnival procession so this really is a family fun day not to be missed.
