High Salvington Fundraisers support Ashdown Club

10-Jun-2011

Pat Higman, Jan Churchfield and Alyson Meik presented a cheque for £870 to Ashdown's Youth Group on Wednesday 7 June.

The High Salvington Fundraising Committee raised the money at their annual book sale held at the Salvington Windmill on 26 May, 2011. The group of 15 fundraisers choose a different charity each year and raise money through two well organised events, the book sale and the Christmas Fayre.

Charlotte Brackley, Manager of Ashdown said 'We are truly amazed at the amount and the money will really benefit both the youth group and the younger children that attend the Ashdown Club.'
