Irene House, one of Guild Care's nursing homes in Worthing, held a glamorous food tasting evening in May with an appropriate theme 'Upstairs & Downstairs'. The tables were lavishly decorated in black and white with silver trimmings and stately candelabra.
Residents, their relatives and staff, dressed in the style of 'Upstairs & Downstairs' and enjoyed six different dishes created by Irene House's hospitality team. These were scored by all the diners according to their taste and appeal.
It was a great evening with live music by local musician Mac and residents even joined in the dancing.
