The 6th Not the New Years Eve Ball takes place at Worthing Golf Club on Saturday 7 January and, since it’s inception in 2007 has raised nearly £30K for Worthing Charity Guild Care.
The organisers, Peter Kennard and Derek Steel, rely on the generosity of both those who attend and the numerous people and companies that kindly donate prizes for the auction. Tables have already been booked by Southern Water, Spofforths and Carpenter Box and the event is once again sold out.
Many local restaurants have provided auction items as well as Worthing MP Sir Peter Bottomley who has donated a visit to the House of Commons. Other prizes have come from the Grand Hotel, Victoria Beckham, Sussex Cricket Club, The Oval, Twickenham and Brighton & Hove Albion. Well known local artist Mike Payne has also kindly offered his support.
