Over 30 carers attended the Carers Day at the Healthy Living Centre at Methold House, Worthing on Tuesday 8 June between 11am to 3pm.
Carers enjoyed the opportunity to talk to other carers in an all male or mental health support group as well as personal discussions with a social worker.
Sarah Hancock, Carers Development Worker, demonstrated the art of 'Cuttlebugging' and helped carers produce some wonderful greeting cards.
There were complimentary therapy taster sessions, a 2 course cooked lunch and a lively talk by local historian and author Chris Hare’s on 'Worthing- riot and respectability in a seaside town.'
