On Tuesday 25 November residents and colleagues joined Richard Mann for a farewell tea at Ashmount. Richard retired after 33 years with Guild Care and is looking forward to taking a steam train to Bath and visiting the theatre more often.
He was presented with many 'good luck' cards and presents as well as a special framed collage showing events and activities at Ashmount over the years.
Richard said 'I have met a lot of characters and seen many changes. At Fraser Lodge, 3 residents used to share a room!' I came to Ashmount in 1993 and have enjoyed a great rapport with the residents, especially those who were here a long time. I am privileged to have shared their many memories.'
