Wall Bros boost Healthy Living Appeal

28-May-2010

WallBrosDirectorsSuzanneMillardGuildCareSuzanne Millard, Chief Executive of Guild Care was presented with a cheque for £1,376 in May as a result of a special promotion run by local carpet company Wall Bros in March. The money will go towards Guild Care’s £100,000 Appeal for the Healthy Living Programme for older people and carers run at Methold House and the Lovett Centre.

Guild Care and Wall Bros have enjoyed a long association going back over 50 years. Keith Kirby, Director of Wall Bros said ‘We are happy to put something back into the community and know that this appeal is helping a lot of people in the Worthing area.’

Suzanne Millard said ‘We are very grateful to Wall Bros for running this promotion and thank both the company and the people who bought carpets during March and contributed towards this great amount. This appeal will enable us to sustain the existing innovative programme which is so important to older people in the community. We are currently doing very well with the appeal and have almost raised £50,000.’
