Domestic help Worthing and Adur

Guild Care's Home Helps can provide domestic help for independent people who want to live in the community but need a helping hand with housework, shopping and those little jobs which are difficult if you are not feeling well, or are frail and struggling with mobility.

Our Home Helps will make your life easier by doing a range of tasks including

  • Housework
  • Laundry tasks
  • Hoovering
  • Shopping for you or assisted shopping
  • Picking up a prescription

If you are over 65, we offer a Help Stay at Home service for up to 2 hours per week at £8 per hour. The service is supported by West Sussex County Council and available to people on a limited income. It includes domestic cleaning and household tasks; shopping and limited pet care such as dog walking; prescription collection; escorting to health appointments and assistance with basic household paperwork. This is offered to people living in Worthing, Lancing and Shoreham.

'My carer has been looking after my father in a domestic capacity for over a year and we couldn't be more delighted with her. Nothing is too much trouble and she always wears a smile. The role she plays in my father's live (and doubtless other people's lives) should not be underestimated.'
