Help Stay at Home

If you are over 65, Guild Care can offer you our a Help Stay at Home service for up to 2 hours per week at £8 per hour. The service is supported by West Sussex County Council and available to people on a limited income.

Help Stay at Home includes domestic cleaning and household tasks; shopping and laundry; prescription collection; escorting to health appointments and assistance with basic household paperwork. Full details are available on our Help Stay at Home leaflet.

The service enables older people and vulnerable adults with limited financial means to lead better quality lives, aiding independence whilst remaining safe and comfortable in their own homes.  If you require more regular support, our Community Care Assistants can assist with personal care, domestic help, emotional support and general assistance such as shopping, medication and mobility. Tasks such as getting in and out of bed, washing and bathing can seem quite daunting if you have not been well or are particularly frail. Our carers will also prepare snacks, make hot drinks and cook a meal.

Support at home is available as required and designed to help people live comfortably and in safety. We offer an individually tailored and personal service for people living in the Worthing, Lancing or Shoreham. We are CQC (Care Quality Commission) registered and have provided home care services locally for over 20 years.

In addition to the personal and domestic care, our fully trained carers can assist you or a relative with dementia and give you additional support.
