Cycle, walk or run for Guild Care in the My Ride London Challenge!

My Prudential Ride London is building on the success of The 2.6 Challenge. It is the world’s greatest festival of cycling that has raised more than £77 million for thousands of charities since it began in 2013. Like so many things this year, it is unable to go ahead. The organisers want to keep things moving and still celebrate the festival over the weekend of 15th and 16th August with a virtual event: My Ride London.

The aim is to inspire and engage people of all ages and abilities to raise much-needed funds for Guild Care by moving in any way they want to: you could cycle, you could walk, you could even skip!

  1. Register - Visit myridelondon.co.uk and select your challenge. There are three cycling distances to choose from, or you can invent your own My FreeCycle wheeled challenge over 1km.
  2. Fundraise - Set up your fundraising page and let people know you’re supporting us so they can sponsor you.
  3. Participate - Set your wheels in motion and complete your challenge anywhere, at any time, over the weekend of 15 and 16 of August!
  4. Nominate - Encourage your family and friends to take part and help save the UK’s charities. Spread the word on social media too by using the hashtag #MyPRL when posting about the event.
  5. Donate - Why not kick back and relax by donating via our website?
  6. Share - Share your stories by posting on our Facebook page

All registered riders (aged over 18) get the option of entering an amazing competition with 25 fantastic prizes to be won including a Brompton Bike worth £1,000!

You’ll find more information, ideas and inspiration, as well as advice on staying safe and cycling responsibly on the road and full event terms and conditions at myridelondon.co.uk.
