This year’s Broadwater Dog Show and Market raised an impressive £3,050.52 for Guild Care.

The event, sponsored by Paws Training, was a massive success. The sun shone down on Broadwater Green, setting the scene perfectly for hundreds of dogs and their owners to enjoy the panoply of canine based stalls and competitions on offer.

There were a variety of well contested show categories, including ‘Prettiest Girl’, ‘Best Puppy’, and ‘Best Rescue’. The winner of the day’s most prestigious prize, ‘Best in Show', was Toastie the Chihuahua. Impressively, he was also the winner of the show’s ‘Musical Obedience’ challenge. Please see the bottom of the page for a full list of winners.

Particularly exciting was the presence of Georgie the British Bulldog, the winner of our ‘Be the Face of Broadwater Dog Show and Market’ competition. Georgie was chosen from a huge pile of applicants to be the face of the event, appearing on all marketing materials in the lead-up to the day.

Guild Care would like to thank Paws Training, The Mayor of Worthing who opened the event, all of the stall holders who made up the market, and everyone else who pitched in to make the event such a success.

The money raised will be put towards our services. Guild Care runs three care homes and over 30 community services helping over 3,000 people each year aged from 5 to 105 in Worthing and its surrounding areas.
