The Littlehampton branch of Multi Packaging Solutions has donated 28 bags of toys and household items to Guild Care.

Guild Care has been running their donation bag scheme, where local businesses fill bags with items to be sold at its charity retail shops, for the last year.

Although the scheme has always been successful, Multi Packaging Solutions has stood out by filling an unprecedented number of bags.

A representative from the company’s Littlehampton branch said: “In 2017, our employee engagement results highlighted a desire for our staff to be more involved in and support the local community, strengthening the family feeling within the business.

“Guild Care provided perfect opportunities to cover both of these areas. As well as having staff donate unwanted clothes and household items, it was great to see so many of our team in a non-working environment and supporting a local charity at Guild Care’s quiz night earlier in the year. We have enjoyed working with Guild Care this year and are looking forward to continuing this relationship in the future.”

The donation bags were gratefully received by Guild Care’s Warwick Street charity shop. The stock has now been sorted and is available to purchase.

Dawn West, Guild Care’s Retail Cluster Manager, said: “We are so grateful to the Littlehampton branch of Multi Packaging Solutions. We’ve run this scheme before, but the sheer amount their staff donated is unprecedented. This impressive collection of toys, clothes, and other items will take on a new life in our shops, helping raise funds for the 30 plus services we run in Worthing and its areas. Thank you.”
