Users of Guild Care services have been busy learning lines and donning colourful make-up and costumes as they performed in two classic pantomime tales in the run up to Christmas.

Guild Care’s Fitzalan Centre which supports adults with learning disabilities was packed full of clients and their families, and the Mayor and Mayoress of Worthing, all watching a performance of Hansel and Gretel.

Both staff and clients performed the classic tale which generated lots of laughter, boos and cheers. Everyone had a great time and the only hiccup was at the finale as the performers bowed to the audience so the stage fell down.

At Guild Care’s Bradbury Centre which supports people living with dementia, clients put on a performance of ‘Cinderfella’ for their family, friends, and other users of the service. They also helped write the script alongside members of staff.  The audience enjoyed the show very much and were full of smiles and laughter.
