Like many charities, we use a third-party content management system to hold our donors' data.

Unfortunately, the system that we use, Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge platform, recently suffered a data breach. This breach saw differing levels of severity for the many charities that the company works with.

We want to assure you that Guild Care holds no financial or personal data that would have put our donors at risk.

However, we are aware that many of our supporters may also have their data held elsewhere, with other charities, that may hold more sensitive information.

We take the management of data very seriously. As such, every supporter whose information was held in the affected database was contacted by us on Friday 21^st August.
