What we do Services for older people Day services Activities for older people At Guild Care we offer a range of activities for older people to help them remain healthy and independent by joining in an exercise or art class, having a cup of coffee, enjoying some entertainment and a sing-along with friends of the same age. These health and well-being services are held at our Guild Care Centre and other venues in the community. We also offer a wide choice of exercise and fitness classes during the week to cover a range of abilities and interests. So come along and join in the fun? When is it open? Our main Guild Care Centre at Methold House is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (and alternate Saturdays and Sundays) from 9am to 3pm. Who can attend? Anyone aged 50 and above Where are the other venues in the community? We run activities throughout the week at our main Guild Care Centre at Methold House, as well as Dolphin Court, and the Healthy Living Programme service operates from the Lovett Centre in Goring on Thursdays. How much does it cost? To attend is free but there is a small fee for some of the activities and refreshments. What people say about it? Christine, has been coming to the drop-in service at Methold House since she lost her husband a number of years ago. She now attends four days a week and enjoys the arts and craft sessions, using the computer and having a dance and sing-a-long with her friends. "I've met lots of new people, it makes you feel good inside. It's much better than sitting at home alone, I like to keep busy and I always have a great time. This is my social life!"
