Three people are running the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 19th April to raise money for our charity. All three of them are using the website JustGiving to collect sponsorship.

Iain Wilson, who is taking on his first full marathon, is raising money for us as his mother, Mary, has dementia and makes use of one of our day centres.

Iain said: “They treat my mum with dignity and respect, organise activities that everyone in the centre can take part in, and help mum with social activities that encourage her to be confident again.”

Lee Gulliver is a seasoned runner, having completed numerous marathons, 5Ks and 10Ks over the last few years.

He said: “I’m running the marathon to support Worthing's oldest local charity and all the great work that they do. I used to work at Guild Care, so I understand the important support that they provide.”
