  • Location: Worthing, West Sussex
  • Salary: £12.60 - £13.20 per hour
  • Shift patterns: Monday - Sunday 08:00-20:00
  • Contract hours: 36 - 42 hours per week, alternative weekends required.

We are searching for a dedicated care assistant to join our Linfield House team.

Essential Qualities:

  • Experience working with older people, dementia care, and manual handling.
  • Evidence of Care Certificate or NVQ qualifications.
  • A compassionate and caring approach to providing emotional support.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to actively listen to clients and their families.
  • Ability to assist with mobility and physical activities, including lifting or supporting clients.
  • Quick thinking and problem-solving skills for unexpected challenges.
  • Accurate and timely recording of information and care provided.
  • Understanding and adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Collaboration with healthcare professionals, family members, and community services.
  • Good time management to efficiently fulfil all care responsibilities.
  • Team player with a caring and respectful nature.
  • Awareness and respect for diverse cultural backgrounds and beliefs.
  • Satisfactory DBS Check.
