Salary

From April 2023, our rates of pay will increase from £9.74 - £13.72 per hour to £10.70- £13.84 per hour.

Hours of Work

Various hours available

For the Homes- Night shifts 8 pm- 8 am, Day shifts 8 am- 2 pm, 2pm – 8 pm or 8 am- 8 pm

For the Community-   Mornings 7 am to 2 pm, 2pm to 6 pm, Evenings 4pm to 10 pm. 45p per mile.

The role

We are seeking experienced care professionals seeking a role that allows fluidity and variety. The role we are recruiting for is a combined role, you would be flexible to work in the care homes and in the community.

You will need access to reliable transport to travel around the community and between the homes.

If you are not sure whether you want to work in the community or in one of our homes, this would be the role for you. For the first 6 months, you will be required to work in both roles, after this you can decide which role suits you.

Job description

Job Requirements

Essential

The ability to communicate well in the English language

The ability to read, write and carry out basic mathematical calculations

Works well as part of a team

The ability to travel between clients

Satisfactory DBS Check

Desirable

Experience of care work

Experience of providing personal care

Experience of working with older people

Previous experience in Dementia Care/demonstrates awareness in Dementia

Evidence of QCF (NVQ L2) in care
