Guild Care has built some long lasting relationships with local companies and is continually developing new ones and who have been supporting us in many different ways.

For example; Local business men Derek Steel of Jacobs Steel and Peter Kennard of HD Tribe are one such team who have been supporters of Guild Care for over 25 years. In that time they have raised more than £25,000, putting their own events on in aid of Guild Care. This has been through their wonderful St. Georges Day Lunches, their Not the New Year’s Eve Ball and their endless support at our annual Golf Challenge.

Another example of how we can work together with local businesses is the relationship we have with Wall Bros Limited. Wall Bros Limited has supported Guild Care since their shop opened in 1957. Company founder, Cyril Wall, was a volunteer driver taking residents out to visit family and friends and also hospital visits. In addition to this, he was highly involved in fundraising for the Ashmount Hotel alterations in 1961 where he kept up his support from then on. More recently Wall Bros have supported Guild Care by sponsoring and supporting of fundraising events such as our flag ship event Walk to Remember, Bond Night and our Annual Golf Challenge raising over the years more than £7,000.
