We want to give our Nursing Team the time to support someone’s wellbeing, both emotionally and physically. It is truly a multidisciplinary role working with GPs, OTs, Physios, Care & Support staff, families and, most importantly, the individual’s themselves.

About our Haviland House nursing home

Haviland House is a specialist dementia care home, purpose built in 2015 to fulfil the needs of residents living with different stages of dementia.

Our key focus is providing a truly person-centred approach. It is important that Haviland House feels like a real home, so we have created an environment in which our residents are happy, independent and confident.

In 2019 Haviland House was a ‘Best Dementia Care Home’ finalist in the National Dementia Care Awards and the home’s Health & Wellbeing Coordinator won the National Activity Providers Association’s ‘Best Activity Coordinator’ award.

As a Registered Nurse the post holder will comply with standards of professional practice/conduct and maintain valid registration with the NMC in order to practice. It is the post holder’s responsibility to ensure they are both familiar and adhere to these requirements.
