GOLD: Growing Older with Learning Disabilities The health and wellbeing of the people who come into contact with our services is of the upmost importance to us. Due to the continuing COVID-19 situation, as of Monday 23rd March we will be suspending our GOLD service until further notice. More information can be found here. Our Growing Older with Learning Disabilities service, known as GOLD, offers a safe, peaceful and stimulating environment for people over the age of 50 with learning disabilities. This is a needs led service that provides a range of person-centred activities that respond to progressive changes in cognitive and physical ability. Activities are user led and flexible, including arts and crafts, singing, music, cooking, quizzes, entertainment and therapies. Who is this service for? People over the age of 50 with learning disabilities. When is it? Sessions are held every Monday and Thursday from 9.30am to 3.pm. Where is it?
