30th August 2019

Guild Care is hosting its annual Dog Show & Fun Day at Broadwater Green on Sunday 8th September from 10am until 3pm.

The event, run in partnership with Paws Training and sponsored by Northdale Veterinary Practice, will give owners the chance to enter their dogs into an array of show categories. There will also be plenty of fun for non-owners of all ages, with a bouncy castle, face painting, craft market, food and drink stalls, and, of course, lots of dogs to admire.

Dog show categories will include, ‘Cutest Girl Puppy’, ‘Most Handsome Boy’, ‘Veteran’ (for dogs older than eight), and ‘Best Rescue’. In addition, there will be a number of other games and competitions, including a fancy dress prize up for grabs and the notoriously difficult ‘Tables of Temptation’ challenge.

All funds raised will be used to support the charity’s work in the community. Such support will help fund vital local services for children and adults dealing with the daily challenge of a disability, loss of independence, or dementia.

Those looking to find out more about the event can visit Guild Care’s website or contact their Fundraising Team on 01903 528613.
