The role

As a Housekeeping Assistant at one of our care homes you will help to keep the interior of the building to a high standard of cleanliness and neatness, while observing safe working practices by following correct procedures (including Health and Safety, COSHH and other legislative requirements).

You will protect the privacy of personal choice and dignity of residents whilst paying attention to small details of what is important to each resident. This may involve working in specific areas of the Home as defined by the relevant Manager, with a specific list of scheduled tasks, as part of a team.


When you join our team, we will discuss with you what’s on offer and your career aspirations. You will meet our friendly, supportive Learning and Development Team and join our in-house trainers in our fantastic training facilities.

Job Requirmetns

Essential

Demonstrates appropriate interpersonal style with service users, visitors and colleagues
Ability to provide a good standard of customer service
The post holder must be able to provide a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check

Desirable

Experience of working with older people

Knowledge of Health & Safety at Work procedures
