Most recent changes to visiting guidelines The safety of our residents and staff is our highest priority at Guild Care. When visiting our homes, visitors must have an LFD test before the visit can take place unless exempt. Visitors must wear a face mask at all times, except when sharing a meal together. Failure to follow these guidelines could lead to the home refusing any future visits. The most recent changes to our guidelines are: There is a limit to three named visitors per resident and all visits must be pre-booked in advance. Residents who are not fully vaccinated will need to self-isolate for 14 days following a visit out. Residents who are fully vaccinated do not need to self-isolate following a visit out, but will need to undertake a an LFD test every other day for 10 days. All residents will need to self-isolate for 14 days following an emergency stay in hospital. Vaccinated residents will have to carry out LFD test for 10 days following a planned hospital stay. An increased testing regime for essential care givers (three LFD + one PCR a week). If there are outbreaks in homes visits in the pods are still allowed, but face-to-face visits are no longer allowed, except for end of life and for essential care givers.
