As this is a role that involves directly caring for our vulnerable clients, residents, and family members, you will need to provide evidence that you have been vaccinated against Covid, before starting your new role as per our company policy. A copy of the policy can be made available to you upon request.

For new recruits, we will now ask at both application and interview stage whether you have had or would be willing to have the vaccine.

You will feel like part of a family when you join us as a Night Care Assistant at Linfield House. You will provide person-centred support for our residents that requires empathy and compassion, respecting that feelings matter the most.

You will assist in the delivery of effective day-to-day care which is responsive to individuals’ needs, and in accordance with Guild Care policies and procedures and the principles of best practice. You and your co-workers will help each other get things done, whilst getting the chance to talk and learn about each other.

About Linfield House

Linfield House is a residential and nursing care home that includes an 11-bed dementia suite. We promote independent living, providing residents with the support and person-centred care that they need to flourish.

Our home has a high staff-to-resident ratio, with a versatile team built around residents' needs. As well as providing around-the-clock nursing care, we have dedicated Health & Wellbeing Coordinators who deliver regular and stimulating activities catered to individuals' interests.

Benefits of working at Guild Care

  • An extra little thank you in your pay. Working nights you can earn up to £9.90 at the weekends
  • Spending more time with our Residents. With fewer people visiting the home, you will have more time to provide care that fits the needs of our Residents. If they want to chat, you’re more likely to have time
  • Peaceful and relaxed environment. Most residents are sleeping and there are fewer visitors. You’ll be busy monitoring and assisting residents, but without the noise and interruptions of the daytime
  • Good team spirit. You and your co-workers help each other get things done, whilst getting the chance to talk and learn about each other
  • More family time. Face it, everything happens during the day. School activities, medical appointments, and hair stylists are easier to schedule.

When you join our team, we will discuss with you what’s on offer and your career aspirations. You will meet our friendly, supportive Learning and Development Team and join our in-house trainers in our fantastic training facilities.
