About Haviland House

Haviland House is our specialist dementia care home built in 2015 to fulfil the needs of residents living with different stages of dementia.

In 2019 Haviland House was a ‘Best Dementia Care Home’ finalist in the National Dementia Care Awards and the home’s Health & Wellbeing Coordinator won the National Activity Providers Association’s ‘Best Activity Coordinator’ award.

Our Dementia Care

Our key focus is providing a truly person-centred approach, developed specifically to meet the needs of our residents living with dementia. It is important that Haviland House feels like a real home, so we have created an environment in which our residents are happy, independent and confident.

There are five unique, separate households across three storeys which are designed to care for particular stages of dementia, allowing specific needs to be catered for. Each household has its own dedicated dementia support carers, who can build rapport, friendship and stability with the residents that they care for.

The role

We are looking for a Night care supervisor on a full- time basis, to join our team at Haviland House. The role of the care supervisor is to be a role model for quality, person-centred care. You will provide supervision, coaching and mentoring to other colleagues. As part of this, you will have responsibility for allocating care staff to sections, prioritising care and overseeing care staff breaks effectively when required

You will ideally have experience in a similar role and preferably hold an NVQ level 2 in health and social care or higher. You will also have opportunities to cover senior care assistant shifts when required.
