The role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Night Senior Care Assistant to join the team at Caer Gwent. As a Night Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for managing the shift and deploying Care Assistants based on residents' needs across assigned areas. By developing and implementing Care Plans, as well as by sharing your personal examples of good care, you will encourage the highest standard of care within the care team.

You will need previous experience of supervising others and the ability to keep Medication competency up to date. A commitment to continuing professional development is also a requirement for this position.

Health and Safety qualification

Qualification in care QCF (NVQ Level 3) or be willing to work towards

First Aid in the Workplace qualification

Previous experience in Dementia Care/demonstrates awareness in Dementia
