We are currently looking for more Registered Nurses to join our team and work across our three care homes: Caer Gwent, Linfield House and Haviland House.

Those joining the team will need to be able to make their own way between the three homes, all of which are in Worthing. They will also require a PIN number.

At Guild Care, our Registered Nurse Team really get to know our residents, resulting in person-centred care and support. We do not merely look at the care plan and focus on the individual's medical conditions – we treat, care and support the ‘whole person’. We want to give our Nursing Team the time to support someone’s emotional well-being in addition to their physical well-being. It is truly a multidisciplinary role working with GPs, OTs, Physios, Care & Support staff, families and, most importantly, the individual themselves.

Benefits of working at Guild Care

  • £1000 'Welcome to Guild Care bonus' for any successful candidate (T&Cs apply).
  • £16.29 to £25.42 per hour and comprehensive mandatory and clinical training conducted by our dedicated in-house training team/ external providers and fully paid induction.
  • £500 Recommend a Friend Scheme (Registered Nurse) £250 for all other roles.

Guild Care nurse

Shirley above works at Caer Gwent

Shirley is a registered nurse at Caer Gwent, she said: "What I love about the role here is the relationships you build with the residents. They’re just lovely. It’s so nice because they know me, I know them, we know each other’s little quirks and it’s just nice. You worry about them."

Shirley added that having fixed shifts was one of the appeals of joining Guild Care. She commented: “When my daughter was little, it was so nice to know I was working the same nights every week and they weren’t going to change. I could fit everything around that.”

“The structure here is good from management down to the clinical lead, it really works. And you keep your clinical competence. I think some nurses think that if you come into a nursing home setting, they will lose their clinical skills, but here we take residents bloods, change catheters, dressing, etc so you don’t miss out on that kind of work. You have to get stuck in. It keeps me going."
