We are currently looking for a Self-employed Occupational Therapist to enable the residents of our care homes to participant in the day-to-day activities that are important to them. We are looking for someone to deliver high quality therapy services.

Working hours and salary

Working within our care homes you will provide:

  • Therapeutic care management for residents by delivering bespoke clinical management programmes
  • Evaluate progress, reassessing and altering treatments as required
  • Providing support and communication in an understandable way to residents, carers and other staff members
  • Completing any admin duties such as maintaining clinical records and dealing with enquiries in a timely manner
  • Delivering a reliable, co-ordinated Therapy service

Who we're looking for:

  • A naturally caring individual, who holds a degree in Occupational Therapy, HCPC Registration, membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapy desirable
  • Significant experience of working with clients with complex needs
  • Experienced in assessment and equipment provision, thermoplastic splinting, cognitive retraining, RPAB, COTNAB and SMART assessment methods, community reintegration
  • An effective communicator, with the ability to lead, mentor and supervise a team in a complex therapy setting, always looking to make a difference to people's lives
