Super Scopers are looking for an outgoing and patient volunteer to interact with the children who attend their group, helping them play and participate in activities.

The Super Scopers group provides a space for children with disabilities and their family members, enabling parents to chat and the children to try a variety of play activities with play worker supervision. They meet one Saturday morning per month at the Fitzalan Centre on Pavilion Road in Worthing.

Many of the children who attend have complex needs and significant communication difficulties, so the role would suit someone with confidence, resilience, and a sense of fun. An understanding of the needs of children and young people with complex disabilities - based on either personal or work experience - would also be useful for the role.

If you are interested in the role, please contact our Volunteer Co-ordinator on [email protected] or use our online form.
