Support Worker (Children’s Services)

  • Location: Ashdown Centre, Worthing
  • Hours: 9.30am-16.30pm every other Saturday, with flexibility during school holidays
  • Payrate: Monday-Friday £10.70 per hour, Saturday £11.24 per hour, Sunday £11.77 per hour

What is the role?

As a Support Worker in our Children's Services at the Ashdown Centre, you'll work closely with the Service Manager to supervise and provide direct care and play activities for children and young people with a range of special needs. Your responsibilities will include…

  • promoting mental and physical stimulation through various activities
  • ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
  • fostering a positive and stimulating care environment

You will be a key part of a team supporting children to participate in activities, outings, and events.
