How to help Trust and Foundations Trust and Foundations Over the years, the generosity of Charitable Trusts and Foundations has enabled us to continue benefiting local people. With over 30 services on offer, we always have a wide range of different activities, items and services in need of funding. Whatever the value, each gift is so important. This support means that we can continue offering and developing our life-changing services to people living within Worthing and the surrounding areas. Some recent examples of the support we have received from Charitable Trusts and Foundations include: £497 to purchase a Karaoke machine, an Xbox and games for our GOLD service (Growing Old with Learning Difficulties) - The Police Property Act Fund £5,000 to help fund the Time out for Carers Service - The Three Oaks Trust £25,000 to fund extra weekend sessions for people living with dementia - Valerie Emily Munday Day Centre Trust £440,000 of National Lottery funding from the Big Lottery Fund, to re-develop part of Guild Care's headquarters to deliver new vital community lifeline services. Thanks to The National Lottery's 'Awards for All' funding scheme, Worthing Scope was able to purchase and programme 'eye gaze' sensory equipment which has allowed clients to communicate more effectively.
