We have recently pushed to get our collection tins out to more shops, cafes, pubs and other public facing businesses in the local area. Excitingly, we have gone from having 25 to 216 (and rising!) local businesses agree to hold our collection tins. Due to this massive increase, we are now looking for volunteers who can take on the role of co-ordinating our tins once they are in place.

Specifically, the role will involve phoning the businesses on a 3-month rolling basis to ask how they are getting on, collecting tins no longer wanted and delivering them back to Guild Care’s Fundraising office, and swapping empty tins for full ones as and when required. All of this will be done following Guild Care’s procedures concerning the handling of money. This role can be taken on flexibly (weekdays, days and times to suit you) and training and guidance will be given.

This role would only be suited to a driver with access to a car as our network collection tin holders now cover an area spreading from Lancing to Arundel. Mileage expenses will be paid.

If you are a friendly person who can create make a good impression of Guild Care out in the community, you are likely to be just what we need.

If you are interested in the role, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator via our online form.
