Linfield Care Home with Nursing is an impressive example of the high standard of residential care we provide for older people in Worthing, West Sussex. We are committed to ensuring choice and setting standards throughout Guild Care services including our residential and nursing homes, Linfield, Caer Gwent, Ashmount and Irene House.

Our commitment to being in touch with our users enables us to deliver very high standards in our care homes for the elderly and Home Care Services. We encourage comments, feedback and suggestions and make changes where we can. We consider this a vital part of promoting quality and choice.

Our Home Care for the elderly service helps hundreds of elderly people living in the local community and the NHS to provide a Fast Response in emergencies. Our highly trained Community Care Assistants and Home Helps offer personal care or domestic help for elderly people in their own homes.

The Healthy Living Centre, at Methold House, provides a wide range of activities promoting good health and well-being for vulnerable, isolated elderly people and all informal carers. Staying active, healthy eating, looking good and feeling good ensures greater independence and better quality of life. The Healthy Living Centre team are all experts in their fields and provide a popular programme which reaches out into the wider Worthing community and West Sussex.

Guild Care’s Time Out and About service enables carers to take time away from the day to day responsibilities of caring by offering carers the opportunity to get out and about in the company of the person they care for. This provides time for carers to relax and enjoy going out together

Time Out for Carers provides short breaks for carers of people with dementia and offers stimulation, support and fun with transport provided.

Guild Care also provides the Ashdown Club for children with significant special needs to give their parents, siblings and other carers a break with fun for the children. Durrington and Lovett Community Clubs for elderly people; local community transport service for the elderly and carers; specialist Dementia Care at Linfield, our new residential care home for the elderly with nursing; sheltered housing; charity shops and the Green House furniture warehouse and charity superstore.
