Receiving a diagnosis of dementia affects people in different ways and we also know that there are numerous questions that people need answers to. We also recognise that as dementia progresses, it is important for people to carry on with their interests and for carers to have time to themselves even if it is only for a few hours. At Guild Care our services can help families in different ways and alongside these services we offer support and information as part of the journey.
Dementia Day Breaks is an exciting new service for people over 50 with a memory/cognitive impairment.
Our highly professional Home Care teams can support you to remain independent in your own home.
Time Out and About outings offer carers and the person they care for the opportunity to spend quality time together with others.
Our Time Out for Carers sessions for people with dementia run on Mondays and Fridays at the Lovett Centre.
Time Out Together gives carers and cared for, the opportunity to enjoy a social evening in a relaxed environment.
