What we do Children with learning disabilities Ashdown Centre Address: 6-8 Ashdown Road, Worthing, West Sussex, BN11 1DF The Ashdown Centre has been running since 1998 and provides respite care for families with children and young adults who have learning disabilities and other complex needs. It offers stimulating and fun sessions for more than 100 families in Worthing and its surrounding areas. Our highly trained and experienced staff provide a caring and safe environment for children with a wide range of needs, such as physical, developmental, educational, sensory, behavioural or psychological - including Autistic Spectrum Disorders, Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome, and Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). A number of services for different age groups are based at the Ashdown Centre.
