This Cookie Notice was last updated on 24/05/2018, and further changes will be communicated by updating this notice.

This notice is designed to help you understand how Guild Care uses cookies and the choices you have in regard to their use.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your browser or the hard drive of your computer or other device when you visit the site. This allows the site to recognise you as a user either for the duration of your visit (using a ‘session cookie’) or for repeat visits ( a ‘persistent cookie’). They are not harmful and do not contain any information such as your home address, date of birth or credit card details.

The cookies we use fall into four broad types:

Necessary Cookies

These cookies help make a website usable by enabling basic functions like page navigation and access to secure areas of the website. The website cannot function properly without these cookies. They do not gather information about you that could be used for marketing or remembering where you've been on the internet.

Analytical/Performance Cookies

These cookies help us to understand how visitors interact with our website by collecting and reporting information anonymously.

Preference Cookies

These cookies enable a website to remember information that changes the way the website behaves or looks, like your preferred language or region that you are in.

Marketing Cookies

These cookies are used to track visitors across websites. The intention is to display ads that are relevant and engaging for the individual user and thereby more valuable for the publishers and third party advertisers. If these cookies were not present on your device you would still see these adverts but they would not be targeted towards you.
