Guild Care is thrilled to announce the exceptional talent of Jenny, who has been crowned as the winner of their 90th birthday competition. Jenny's magnificent artwork, which beautifully portrays Worthing's local landmarks, has captured people's hearts and secured her well-deserved victory.

As Worthing's largest and most established social care charity, Guild Care is committed to supporting older people, people living with dementia, and children and adults with learning disabilities. As a charity, Guild Care aims to reduce social isolation and social stigma.

The competition invited participants to submit their creative interpretations, either celebrating someone's 90th birthday this year or illustrating Worthing's rich history and diversity through a distinctive local landmark. Jenny's work not only met but exceeded these criteria, showcasing her remarkable skill in capturing the essence of our beloved town.

In an interview, Jenny graciously shared her inspiration and techniques that brought her awe-inspiring art to life. "I put as much history into the pictures as I can," she revealed. "I nearly always feature old Worthing, as they sell quite well, but I do like to meet the people that buy my pictures, because I feel that with each picture I create, a little part of me is embedded within them."

But the celebration doesn't end here. Jenny's triumph has earned her a well-deserved meal for two at the Parsonage's Sunday Roast event scheduled for October. Guild Care extends heartfelt thanks to The Parsonage for their generous contribution to our competition. For more information about The Parsonage, please visit www.theparsonage.co.uk.
