At Guild Care we have a range of services that give carers much needed time to recharge their batteries in the knowledge that their loved one is being looked after in a safe, stimulating and secure environment.

Who is it for?

  • For people with a memory/cognitive impairment or a diagnosis of dementia who are still living in the community and their carers

"Guild Care’s dementia services are a real blessing to my husband and myself. He goes to the Bradbury Centre once a week and he can take part in activities, socialise and have lunch with others. I have every confidence that he is being safely looked after whilst I can have a much needed break from caring and enjoy a few hours of ‘me’ time." Maureen, wife of day service user

The Bradbury Centre

The Bradbury Centre which is adjacent to our Haviland House dementia care home and provides a range of day services supporting hundreds of people living with dementia each year, including their carers.

The centre is the first of its kind in Worthing, providing a purpose built one-stop-shop for people to access everything from day services, respite, supported outings, assisted bathing and therapeutic services such as hairdressing and beauty treatments.

The Bradbury Centre offers an extensive social and innovative programme of events and provides a safe and stimulating environment for people living with dementia and at the same time providing well needed respite for carers.
